Tinkerbell
Okay, I had a weird moment the other day.
I've been thinking a lot about themes of childhood and innocence lately for one of my novels and amidst rehearsals for a play of Peter Pan I've found myself warming to the name Tinkerbell. Automatically I was like 'Woah, that's too out there' but then, is it?
Everyone is getting so experimental with names these days and the name Tinkerbell, though rather iconic, is rather cute. I'm not sure my partner would appreciate the name or agree to it, and maybe it's just a fleeting fancy, but it's a really cute name for the right family.
Tinkerbell, of course, is the fairy from Peter Pan. Our belief in her is paramount and she is a trust-worthy best friend. Her name is one for a loyal child who is brave and ready for adventure!
Some alternatives: Belle, Bella, Pixie, Inkley.
